Jardiniere: A Gardener's Calendar beautifully illustrates the work of Eugene Grasset, a pioneer of Art Nouveau design. This 1000 piece collage puzzle from Cobble Hill immerses the puzzler into 12 intricate gardening scenes by month, headlined in French.

Note: There are Zodiac signs for each month in this calendar. Zodiac signs as we know them today, span across two months. The small signs labeled in each month are not incorrect in that it was a design choice by the Art Nouveau artist, Eugene Grasset (1845-1917). Never mind the fact that we may now have a 13th sign - Ophiuchus!

Gorgeous Artwork

I enjoyed every second of this puzzle. The pieces are very high quality, with a crisply defined print. If you love art nouveau style puzzles…definitely give this one a go!

A super puzzle!

This Cobble Hill Jardinièr puzzle was great fun. It's easier than it looks as there are lots of lovely distinct patterns and colours. And of course the usual Cobble Hill quality, which means, if a piece fits, it is a firm fit.
